Maporize Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of Maporize ("the app"), a geography quiz game for iOS developed by Ulaş Akkoyun. Maporize uses Google and Apple sign-in, a unique username, XP, coins, daily rewards, optional rewarded ads, leaderboard features and Firebase-backed account sync. By creating an account or using the app, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use Maporize. If you are under the age of majority in your country, you may use the app only with the involvement of a parent or guardian.

2. Your account

  • You sign in using Google or Sign in with Apple. You are responsible for keeping your sign-in method secure. Anonymous or guest accounts are not supported.
  • You choose a unique username. You may not choose a username that is offensive, impersonates another person, or infringes anyone's rights. We may reclaim or reset usernames that violate these Terms.
  • You are responsible for activity that happens under your account.

3. License to use the app

We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use Maporize for your own personal, non-commercial entertainment, subject to these Terms and to Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement.

4. Virtual items, rewards and in-game economy

Maporize includes virtual items and rewards such as XP, levels, coins and a daily login reward. These have no real-world monetary value, cannot be exchanged for cash, and cannot be transferred outside the game. You receive a limited license to use them within the app. We may adjust, reset, or remove virtual items, currency balances, unlock conditions, rewards, daily-reward amounts or game modes at any time as part of operating and balancing the game.

Coins and rewards are earned through gameplay, the daily login reward, and — if you choose — by watching optional rewarded ads (see below). They cannot be purchased.

5. Advertisements

Maporize is free and supported by optional rewarded advertisements provided through Google AdMob. You may choose to watch a short video ad to earn coins, continue after a loss, or double a reward — you are never required to watch an ad to play. Ads are served by Google, and their availability, content and rewards are not guaranteed and may change. Your interaction with ads is also subject to Google's terms. 6. Fair play and acceptable use

When using Maporize, you agree not to:

  • cheat, use bots, or manipulate scores, XP, rewards or the leaderboard;
  • reverse engineer, decompile, or tamper with the app or its backend;
  • scrape, copy, or reuse game data or place data at scale without permission;
  • attempt to access data that is not yours, or disrupt the service;
  • abuse the ad or reward systems, or use the app for any unlawful purpose.

We may remove leaderboard entries, reset progress, or suspend accounts that appear to violate these rules or that show signs of fraudulent activity.

7. Intellectual property

The app, its design, artwork, and content are owned by Ulaş Akkoyun and are protected by applicable laws. Map and place data are used for educational and entertainment purposes. You may not copy, distribute, or create derivative works from the app without permission.

8. Disclaimers

Maporize is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis, without warranties of any kind. Geographic data is provided for educational purposes and may contain inaccuracies; we do not warrant that the content is complete or error-free. The app may change over time, and some features or content may be added, removed or locked at launch or later.

9. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Ulaş Akkoyun shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the app. The app is a free game provided for entertainment.

10. Termination

You may stop using the app and delete your account at any time from the in-app Account → Delete Account screen. We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these Terms.

11. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by the "Last updated" date above. Continued use of the app after changes means you accept the updated Terms.

12. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Türkiye, without regard to conflict of law principles.
