How it works
One place at a time, shuffled fresh every round — so you learn the map, not the order.
One tap on the real administrative shape. Right answers light up. A wrong tap flashes red, costs a heart, and the same name stays until you find it.
Every correct answer is XP, and quick ones on the map are worth more. XP becomes levels, levels pay coins, and coins buy an extra heart when a round gets tight. The loop is short on purpose.

Progress
Nothing here is designed to extract money from you, because nothing here can be bought with it.
On the map, speed pays: 3 XP within three seconds, 2 within six, 1 within nine. Flags, capitals and shapes pay a flat 1 XP. Early levels fly by and later ones take more work, and every level-up pays coins — the higher you climb, the bigger the reward.
Each day of the week pays more than the one before: 100 coins on day one, up to 1,000 on day seven. Miss a single day and you're back to day one, so keep the streak alive.
The weekly board starts from zero every week, so one good week can put you on top. The all-time board never resets: it counts every point you have ever earned.
Honest by design
Maporize has no in-app purchase of any kind — no coin packs, no map bundles, no subscription. Coins come from playing. Ads pay for the rest.
Every map and every game mode is open from the first launch, and every mode added later will be open too.
There is no store, and no amount of money moves you faster.
Maps are vector data bundled into the app. On a plane, on the metro, on no signal at all — it plays.

Questions
Yes, and there is no in-app purchase to change that. Every map is open from the first launch. Coins come from level-ups and the daily reward, never from money, and the one thing they buy is an extra heart in the middle of a round, for 300 coins. The app is funded by ads.
There are two kinds: occasional full-screen ads, and rewarded ads you can choose to watch for a bonus.
Yes. Every map is vector data bundled inside the app, so rounds play with no connection at all. You'll need a connection to sync progress and see the leaderboard.
No. Tap through as a guest and start playing. Sign in with Apple or Google whenever you like — link the account and your guest progress carries over intact.
Four modes. Find On Map: a place name appears and you tap it on the real map. Find The Flag: a flag and four countries to choose from. Find The Capital: a country and four capitals. Find By Shape: a silhouette and four names — countries, or the provinces and states of one country. Every round starts with three hearts. Find The Flag and Find The Capital are played as a Journey: chapters continent by continent, up to three stars each, and a final that opens once every chapter of that continent is done.

Yes. There's no chat, no messaging and no way for players to contact each other, and there's nothing to buy. Other players only ever see a leaderboard entry: a handle that is reviewed before it appears, with its level and XP, plus a profile photo for players who signed in with Google. Maporize is for players aged 13 and up; it shows ads and asks for consent where the law requires it.
