Frequently asked questions
How do I delete my account and data?
- Open Maporize and tap the profile icon at the top.
- Scroll down and tap Delete Account.
- Confirm. Your account and all data — progress, coins, username and leaderboard entry — are permanently deleted. This cannot be undone.
I signed in but my progress is missing.
Your progress is tied to the account you signed in with (Google or Apple). Make sure you're using the same sign-in method as before. If you still have trouble, email us with your username.
Can I change my username?
Usernames are chosen once when you first sign in and are unique across all players. If you need a change, contact support.
How do coins and XP work?
You earn XP for correctly identifying places, which raises your level. Coins are earned through level-ups and the daily login reward, and can be spent to continue a game after losing. Coins and XP have no real-world value.
How does the leaderboard work?
The global leaderboard ranks players by total XP and shows your username. Only your username and total XP are visible to other players.
