About

I'm a Computer Engineering student at Mugla Sitki Kocman University with a strong interest in building software that's both technically solid and enjoyable to use. I'm interested in backend development, mobile applications, and modern web technologies.

My path into software wasn't entirely straightforward. I began studying Electrical & Electronics Engineering at Dokuz Eylul University before deciding to pursue Computer Engineering — a move that better matched what I genuinely enjoyed building. Since then, I've progressed from maintaining university computer labs and supporting large-scale online examinations, to developing system-level security software during my internship at S3M Security, and now to building modern applications as a Software Engineering Intern at Nabusoft Digital Solutions in Istanbul.

Outside of day-to-day development, I'm particularly interested in systems programming, information retrieval, and natural language processing. I enjoy understanding how software works beneath the surface and applying that knowledge to build products that are fast, maintainable, and practical. Whether it's an iPhone app, a cloud-backed web platform, or a backend service, I like taking ideas from concept to a polished, production-ready result.

Maporize

Maporize is a native iOS application developed in Swift that gamifies geography education. It uses GeoJSON datasets to render interactive maps, Firebase Authentication and Firestore for cloud synchronization, and a modular architecture supporting multiple game modes, XP progression, achievements, daily rewards, and global leaderboards. The app is optimized for rendering complex geographic boundaries, minimizing memory usage, and providing responsive touch interactions across thousands of vector shapes.
